Tulster is a small company that was founded in 2012. They placed their first holsters on social media and began receiving interest for their product. In 2013, they started their first website. As demand for their holster grew, they moved from manufacturing holsters in a garage to using state of the art CNC machines in a new manufacturing facility.
Tulster uses Kydex to make their holsters, but they cut more of the excess away than many other companies. They undercut the guard which will allow you to grab more gun when un-holstering your Glock 19. They have also cut enough Kydex away so that you can release the magazine while your Glock is in the holster. Like the Hylja, the Profile has user adjustable retention. When you holster your Glock in the Profile, you will hear an audible snap when the firearm is secured.
Tulster has engineered their holster in such a way that there is minimal contact between your Glock and the holster until positive retention is obtained. This allows you to avoid excessive holster wear. Holster wear is when your holster begins to rub off the bluing and sharp corners of your firearm.
Tulster wants to ensure that you are comfortable carrying your Glock. They continued removing excess material between the muzzle and the retention screw so that the holster will not dig in to your body or thigh. The Profile has a full sweat shield that spans the entire length of the pistol slide. The Kydex for this pistol is formed for the Glock 19 to ensure a snug fit and low drag when drawing your pistol. Like the Hylja, the Tulster Profile has a raised sight channel to accept aftermarket sights. It also features an open end so that a threaded barrel can be used with this holster.
You can purchase the Profile in a left or right-handed configuration. It mounts to your belt using a 1.5-inch clip or an additional 1.75-inch clip. If you prefer a more secure mounting option, you can purchase soft loops that allow your belt to be threaded through. With the clip or the soft loops, you can set the cant of your pistol from zero to fifteen degrees.

Alien Gear is an Idaho based company that has produced quality holsters since 2013. Their production started in their kitchen, moved to their garage, and finally, in 2016, to a modern facility. Alien Gear has been innovating from the start. They are the only company that has landed two holsters on the our list.
The Cloak Tuck 3.5 is a Kydex holster that is mounted to a neoprene backing. This neoprene backing is known as CoolVent neoprene. It is a breathable and sweat-wicking fabric. The one thing that the Cloak Tuck 3.5 lacks compared to others is color options. This holster is only available in black.
Like many of the other holsters, the retention on the 3.5 is user adjustable. You can also adjust the carry height and cant of your Glock 19. The carry height is a reference to the height in which the pistol extends over your waistband. Alien Gear form fits their Kydex to each pistol, they do not do generic fits for multiple pistol brands. This allows them to make a quality holster that has outstanding retention capabilities. Unfortunately, Alien Gear does not account for the customization of the Glock 19. Their holster does not fit any aftermarket sights, lights, or red dot optics.
The Cloak Tuck 3.5 has a plethora of mounting options when it comes to your belt. You can choose from O, C, or J clips. O clips require your belt to be threaded through them. C clips clip on to your belt and the holster can be removed without removing your belt. J clips allow your belt to ride in the clip without enclosing most of your belt. Another interesting mounting option for the 3.5 is the Cloak Dock. The Cloak Dock is a mounting system that can be attached to any flat surface. This system allows you to remove your holster and place it on to previously mounted points. These points can be attached to a wall, your bed frame, or the inside of your vehicle. With the Cloak Dock, you can have your pistol near you even if you are not wearing it. The Cloak Tuck 3.5 can be purchased in a left or right-hand configuration. Alien Gear does have a lifetime warranty and they even have a 30-day trial period. If you do not like your holster, you can send it back for a full refund.

CYA Supply Company is a small business operating in the United States. They are a small, Veteran owned business and a staunch supporter of second amendment. They are the only company on our list that is using a material other than Kydex for the shell of their holsters.
For their Glock 19, and all other holsters, CYA Supply Company uses a material known as Boltaron. This is a thermoplastic much like Kydex. According to CYA, Boltaron will outlast and outperform Kydex in terms of hardness and durability. It is .08-inches thick just like most Kydex used in other holsters.
The Glock 19 holster made by CYA is available in four colors. They offer three solid colors and one carbon fiber pattern. This holster does feature a full length sweat shield and user adjustable retention. Many of the other holsters only have one retention screw while the CYA holster has two for optimal adjustments. The CYA holster does have a posi-click audible retention system so you know when your pistol is secure.
This CYA holster is a coffin style with a closed end and will fit generation three through five Glock 19s. CYA does offer to cut this holster for red dot optics, but they do not offer to mold a holster mounted with a light or laser.
Currently, CYA is only making their Glock 19 holster available in a right-handed configuration. The CYA holster can be mounted on your belt using a 1.5-inch stainless steel clip. This clip is powder coated matte black and you can adjust the cant from zero to fifteen degrees. CYA Supply Company offers a 100% moneyback guarantee and a lifetime warranty on any holster they produce.

Concealment Express is another small company from the United States. They operate out of a facility located in Jacksonville, FL. They claim that “Nobody can get a quality, hand-made Kydex holster into your hands faster than we can”. That is bold statement considering so many companies make holsters. Concealment Express manufactures a quality holster with low lead times.
Concealment Express holsters are made using Kydex and weigh only three ounces. They are able to quickly manufacture holsters because they only offer them in two colors. You can order a holster in black or black carbon fiber. This holster has a sweat shield that covers the majority of your Glock 19’s slide, but some of your firearm will extend past the sweat shield.
Like most of the other holsters, this holster does have user adjustable retention and it features a posi-click audible retention system like the CYA holster. This holster is mostly closed on the end and will not accept a threaded barrel. It can be cut to order for red dot optics, but Concealment Express does not offer a version to fit a Glock 19 with a light or laser attached.
Mounting your Concealment Express holster is simple, and they offer several options to suit your needs. Included with the holster is a 1.5-inch ABS plastic belt clip. If the included belt clip does not work for you, they offer a 1.7-inch clip or soft loops for purchase. With any of these mounting options, you can cant your holster from zero to fifteen degrees. Concealment express offers a lifetime warranty and a money back guarantee on any holster they manufacture.

Bravo Concealment, like many of the holster companies on our list, started out small and quickly blossomed in to a major manufacturer. This company began in Texas by selling their holsters on eBay from their garage. After two years of working in their garage, they moved a major facility and now use sophisticated CNC machines to mold their holsters. Their simple approach and innovation in the holster industry lands them at number six on the list.
The Bravo Concealment Torsion holster has a simple design and is only available in one color. Just because it has only one color and lacks luxury features, does not make this holster fall down the list of the best holsters. This holster has unique features that are not found on other holsters and that is what sets it apart from the others. This holster is canted inward towards your body for greater concealment. The Torsion can be mounted to your belt with two belt clips or one belt clip. If you chose to mount the holster using only one belt clip, you are able to tuck your shirt in behind the holster for a more formal style of concealed carry. This is the only holster that allows you have a tucked in shirt while carrying concealed, this is a major innovation in the concealed carry industry.
The Torsion holster has user adjustable retention and a sweat shield that covers most of your Glock 19. This holster will fit generations three through five Glock 19s and will work with a threaded barrel.
Like many of the other holsters on this list, it cannot be molded to accept a light or laser bearing Glock 19. The Bravo Concealment Torsion can be purchased in a right or left-handed configuration. The company does offer a 30-day return policy if you are not satisfied with their product.

The AlienGear ShapeShift 4.0 is an attempt by Alien Gear to improve on the Cloak Tuck 3.5. Much like the Tuck 3.5, this holster is mounted on a CoolVent neoprene base to improve comfort while carrying concealed. Unlike the Tuck 3.5, the ShapeShift 4.0 only has one attachment point to the neoprene. This allows your pistol to move more freely with your body and belt.
The most interesting feature of the ShapeShift 4.0 is that it can be used in conjunction with the ShapeShift Core Carry Pack. This pack allows you to convert this holster from an IWB to an OWB and includes a holster mount for your home or vehicle. It has user adjustable retention that can be adjusted with a special Alien Gear tool.
When in OWB configuration, this holster has a thumb release option that makes it a level II retention holster. This holster will fit generations three through five Glock 19s, but is not customizable for after market sights, lights, or lasers. It has a full length sweat guard and can be purchased in a right or left-handed configuration. Just like the Cloak Tuck 3.5, this holster can be mounted to your belt using O, J, or C belt clips. The Alien Gear ShapeShift 4.0 is backed by a lifetime guarantee and a 30-day trial period.
What To Look For When Buying A Glock 19 Holster
The Glock 19 has been the standard for military handguns beginning shortly after its introduction to the United States in 1988. The widespread adoption and high sales numbers of the compact 9mm tells a complete story, the Glock 19 is one of the most popular pistols in the world, known for its iconic blocky shape that has become famous. In fact, the design is roughly the same as the day the company sent the first batch off to the Austrian Army.
The Glock 19 is a wonderful tool if you need to defend yourself. While it might not be the perfect target pistol or even the best for competition, its simple design works just about every time you need it to. Weighing in at 23.65 ounces (unloaded), the Glock 19 is not too heavy for you attach to your waist making the carry of the striker fired gun relatively easy.
The Glock 19 carries 15 rounds of 9mm in the magazine, 2-3 more than comparably sized pistols at the time of its introduction. Obviously, there are aftermarket magazines and magazine extensions that can boost that number, but may make it more difficult to conceal.
IWB holsters may not work with your current belt size. If you are going to carry IWB, you will need a bigger belt as the holster and your firearm are going to take up some length. This list only contains IWB holsters because the Glock 19 is meant to be concealed.
Most of the holsters listed are made from Kydex. Kydex was the invention of Rohm and Haas Company, a Philadelphia-based materials manufacturer working in the aircraft interior business. In the late 1960’s, a range of industries realized that Kydex sheets could be manipulated into almost any shape by applying heat and molding the material around forms. Kydex holsters are virtually maintenance-free. If a Kydex holster gets dirty or dusty, you can wash it off and wipe it down. Kydex holsters are ready to use right away. They do not have a break in period like leather holsters. They will maintain the desired shape over a lifetime of use. What you see is what you get and what you get is what you’ll see even after years of hard use.
